Two students from the Biology program achieved success in the 3-Minute Thesis Speech Competition organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Tanjungpura University, as part of the 23rd Dies Natalis FMIPA Untan events in 2024. The winners of the competition were Bani Fadilah Akbar, who secured first place, and Istiqomah Desi, who received the title of honorable mention. This event showcased the students' abilities to present their final project results in an interactive, communicative, and engaging manner, making complex concepts accessible and easy to understand. Bani Fadilah Akbar's presentation, which focused on his research entitled Effect of Gamma Irradiation on the Quality of Microbiology of White Bawal Fish Meat (Pampus argenteus), the judges and contributed to his victory in the competition. Congratulations to the Biology students, and may their achievements serve as an inspiration to their peers.
