The Community Service Team from the Biology Department, comprising both lecturers and students, has conducted activities aimed at enhancing students' skills in the production of Ecoprint Mugs utilizing natural dyes derived from local foliage. Students from State Senior High School 2 Paloh, located in Sambas Regency, exhibited considerable enthusiasm throughout the various stages of the ecoprint mug-making process, which included leaf arrangement, pressing, and a two-hour steaming procedure. Ecoprint represents one of the distinguished products of the Biology Department at FMIPA UNTAN, which is promoted as a marketable item for the community in West Kalimantan. Through this training initiative, the community service team aspires to contribute to the local economy and facilitate the transfer of skills to the younger generation, thereby fostering greater creativity and innovation in the future.
