The Community Service Team of the Biology Study Program consisting of three teams carried out a Training Program for students and the community in Temajuk Village, Paloh District, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. One of the PKM teams of the Biology Study Program provided training on making nipah banana flour and making steamed brownies from banana flour. This program was given to the Temajuk Village community because the area has an abundance of nipah bananas. According to the results of a survey conducted by the Dr. Rafdinal, M.Si. Team, it is known that nipah bananas are only sold as fruit without being processed into other products. Therefore, this training program provides skills to the community to increase the selling value of nipah bananas through nipah banana flour and steamed brownies. This also supports Temajuk Village which has the status of a Tourism Village and can provide souvenir products for visitors who travel there. The implementation of the training was attended by productive women's groups smoothly. One of the participants said that they were only currently making banana flour and steamed brownies from banana flour. The participants hope to be able to implement the training program in order to increase family income. Another hope expressed by the participants was to establish cooperation with the Biology Study Program, FMIPA UNTAN, especially to improve skills in making products from materials that are easily found around the village.
